IMAGE FORMING METHOD AND PRODUCTION METHOD OF OUTPUT MATTER FOR PRINT PROOF READING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of an output matter for print proof reading, which is realized easily by inkjet system and has favorable image characteristics by contriving the coexistence between the continuous adjustment of dot density and the prevention of the development of various nonuniformities through the setting of the sharpness of an image formed by the inkjet system image forming method in a suitable range.

SOLUTION: In the image forming method for producing the output matter for print proof reading by forming a dot image through the jetting of ink containing a photopolymerizable compound onto an offset-printing sheet, activating ray is irradiated over paper-struck ink within 1.0 s after the striking of the ink against printing paper under the condition that the time required until the curing of the paper-struck ink ends by the activating ray is set to be at least 0.05 s and not more than 3.0 s.
