<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cogeneration system, and its control method capable of improving operation efficiency by properly sorting or classifying a plurality of control forms when filling a bathtub with hot water, and enhancing prediction accuracy in regard to hot water supply demand (or demand regarding heat). <P>SOLUTION: The cogeneration system includes a hot water generating means 1, an operating means 4 for determining an operation mode regarding bathing, detecting means F1, F2, T1-T3, and T10 for detecting a state of a hot water supply system, and a control means 4.
