INDIRECT ILLUMINATOR EQUIPPED WITH MONITORING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indirect illuminator equipped with a monitoring apparatus capable of photographing a monitoring image without making a person in a space to be monitored aware of being imaged.

SOLUTION: The monitoring apparatus 20 includes a shade 50 for indirect illumination, a socket 42 which is provided in the shade 50 and for installing an electric bulb 40, and a video camera 60 which is provided outside the shade 50 where the direct light from the electric bulb 40 does not reach the camera. A mirror part is formed at least a portion of the external surface 52 of the shade 50 and the video camera 60 photographs the object to be monitored which is reflected by the mirror part. The monitoring apparatus 20 further includes a shield part 62 shielding the video camera 60.
