<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse width modulator adapted to receive feed back voltage and reference voltage. <P>SOLUTION: This pulse width modulator includes a triangular wave generator capable of regulating amplitude, an error signal generator, a pulse signal generator, and a drive circuit. The triangular wave generator capable of regulating amplitude is adapted to calculate amplitudes, corresponding to the reference voltage and the feedback voltage, and generate triangular waves capable of regulating amplitude, in accordance with the change in the feed back voltage. The error signal generator is adapted to perform error computation corresponding to the reference voltage and the feed back voltage, and outputs an error signal. The pulse signal generator is connected to the triangular wave generator, capable of regulating the amplitude, and the error signal generator, adapted to output a pulse control signal by receiving and comparing the error signal and the triangular waves capable of regulating amplitude.
