<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-mounting machine which is capable of meeting space-saving requirements and coping with a process of mounting more types of parts. <P>SOLUTION: A head unit 5 is equipped with a plurality of mounting heads 18 mounted with nozzles in a replaceable manner, a part is attracted and mounted on a board 3 by the head unit 5, and the nozzles are replaced with the other nozzles contained in nozzle stockers 32A and 32B corresponding to the types of the parts.
