摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel efficiency, and reduce heating and wear of clutch discs by controlling engine output when a vehicle starts on the slope. SOLUTION: A first target engine torque computing part 21 detects a slope start operation by a driver from vehicle speed VSP, gear position GP and vehicle slope SLP, thereby computing a target engine torque Tslp0 at the slope start. A clutch transmittable torque computing part 22 computes clutch transmittable torque Tclst on the basis of the clutch stroke amount CLST. A minimum torque selection part 23 selects small torque (Tclst) by comparison between the target engine torque Tslp0 and the clutch transmittable torque Tclst. A throttle opening control part 28 controls the opening of throttle 1a so as to generate torque which is the sum of the torque Tclst selected by the minimum torque selection part 23 and the friction torque during idle run.
