PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture at low cost a joint connector making connection of a bus bar with a wire by insulation displacement. SOLUTION: The insulation displacement joint connector 1 is provided with a plurality of wire holders 10 fixing and holding a plurality of wires 80, a first and a second housings 20, 30 equipped with holder mounting parts 21, 31 mounting the above wire holders, and a first and a second bus bars 40, 50 fitted to the housings 20, 30. Both bus bars 40, 50 are equipped with insulation displacement terminal parts 43, 53 for inserting the wires 80 into slits 44, 54, and connecting terminals 45, 55, both housings 20, 30 have a receptacle type fit-in part 22 and a plug type fit-in part 32, respectively, for fitting into each other, and the wire holder 10 is provided with a mounting side opening 12a at the holder mounting parts 21, 31 side for insertion displacing the wires 80 to the insertion displacement terminal parts 43, 53.
