PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize configurations for efficiently and surely executing the information acquisition of attribute information(music information) corresponding to recorded contents. SOLUTION: Two music acquisition processing in two different configurations such as music information acquisition processing from a hash information service providing server and music information acquisition processing from a TOC(Table of Contents) information service providing server is selectively applied so that information acquisition can be executed. For example, the decision of whether there is any non-acquired music information is executed according to the music information acquisition processing to which either a hash information retrieval part or a TOC information retrieval part is applied, and when it is decided that there is any non-acquired music information, the music information acquisition processing to which the other retrieval part is applied is executed. Thus, the information which has not been acquired by one retrieval processing can be completed by retrieval by the other retrieval part, and much more complete information acquisition can be realized.
