PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical component which is formed of resin having superior optical characteristics and has a desired pattern and where an electric wire having superior durability and reliability is integrally formed. SOLUTION: The optical component is made of thermoplastic resin and the electric wire is formed integrally on the optical component; and the saturation water absorptivity of the thermoplastic resin is≤0.01% and the photoelastic modulus is≤1×10<SP>-12</SP>cm<SP>-2</SP>/dyne.
