CREASE-PROOF METHOD OF WOOL FIBER PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for imparting crease-proof effect to a wool fiber product without substantially damaging touch feeling of wool fiber. SOLUTION: The wool fiber product is treated with a treating bath containing a compound selected from a hydroxybenzophenone derivative, a hydroxyphenylbenzotriazole derivative, a diphenylcyanoacrylate derivative and a halogenated diphenylurea derivative each having sodium sulfonate group to keep moisture content of the wool fiber product at 20°C and 65% RH to≤12.2%. The wool fiber product is preferably treated by immersing the wool fiber product in an acidic treating bath containing 5-25% owf of the above compound. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
