PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly increase the strength of the attaching part of a hood made of continuous fiber reinforced resin. SOLUTION: The hood for a lens 10 attached to a receiving part 31 formed on the outer circumference part on the edge side of a photographic lens barrel 30 is equipped with a hood body 11 molded of the continuous fiber reinforced resin and the attaching part 12 provided on the inner periphery part on the base part side of the hood body 11 and engaged with the receiving part 31 of the photographic lens barrel. The attaching part 12 is formed of resin material in multistage form, and is equipped with an engaging part 13 engaged with the receiving part 31 and a bearing surface 14 arranged near the engaging part 13 and abutting on the periphery part of the receiving part 31.
