PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of a photosensitive material processing apparatus having a sorting function to sort photosensitive materials discharged after photographic printing. SOLUTION: The photosensitive material processing apparatus having the sorting means for sorting the photosensitive materials discharged after photographic printing is provided with a first carrying system (30) which is placed with the discharged photosensitive materials and continuously carries the same, an inverting means (31) which inverts the front and the back of the continuously carried photosensitive materials, a second carrying means (32) which maintains the stopped state until the prescribed number of sheets of the photosensitive materials inverted by the inverting means (31) are placed thereon and which performs intermittent driving to be driven when the prescribed number of sheets are place thereon, and an instructing means (47) which instructs the force driving of the second carrying means (32).
