PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate effectively and precisely melting behavior of toner melting by being heated and pressurized. SOLUTION: The toner is placed as an object W to be melted on a support part 11 of a base 1, and a transparent block 2 is moved in the arrow R direction by a moving stage 3, to thereby crush the toner. The transparent block 2 is formed by depositing a transparent conductive film 21 by sputtering or the like on the back side of flat transparent quartz glass 20, and the whole surface of the transparent quartz glass 20 can be uniformly heated in a short time with excellent controllability and high accuracy. The toner crushed by the heated transparent block 2 is melted between the transparent block 2 and the base 1, and the process is imaged through the transparent block 2 by a high-speed camera 4.
