PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine favorably washing laundry using electrolytic water. SOLUTION: This washing machine is provided with a circulating type electrolytic device 17 which imports water inside an outer tank 5 from a drain outlet 55 formed in a bottom wall 52 of the outer tank 5, electrolyzes the water, and returns the generated electrolytic water to the outer tank 5 from a circulating port 56 formed in the bottom wall 52 of the outer tank 5. This washing machine is so constituted that the electrolytic device 17 is disposed above a drain valve 14 and below the bottom wall 52 of the outer tank 5. This constitution allows the electrolytic device 17 to import water in the outer tank 5 storing a little water therein 5 to electrolyze the water. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
