PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which can prevent a water leakage resulting from a failure of the water supplying system from occurring, or can prevent a failure of an electric part or the like resulting from bubbles generated at the time of washing from occurring. SOLUTION: This washing machine is equipped with a rotating drum 31 having the rotation axis in the horizontal direction or a tilted direction, a water receiving rub 33 which internally contains the rotating drum 31 and is elastically supported by a washing machine main body, a heater 47 for drying laundry, an air blowing fan 48, and a controlling means equipped with a pair of electrodes 54 in a vicinity of a warm air feeding port 51 of a warm air feeding pathway 49 above an overflow water surface 55, and controls a series of washing motions.
