PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric oscillation device where the reliability of a product is improved by preventing damages to electrode pad etc. formed on the outer surface. SOLUTION: This temperature compensated crystal oscillator device is provided with a chip-type crystal oscillator 1; and an IC 41 as a circuit element to be fitted to the center part of the rear surface of the crystal oscillator 1. On the lower surface of the crystal oscillator 1, protrusions 15 and electrode pads 12a and 13a for a piezoelectric element prevent electrode pads 16 for a circuit element and electrode pads 17 for external connection at relatively low positions from contacting directly with a carrier apparatus, such as a parts feeder.
