PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion tank which is not supplied with oxygen again to a piping system, and the reference pressure is not fluctuated. SOLUTION: The expansion tank comprises a tank body 10 in which heating medium water in a closed pipe is introduced, piping-connection pipes 21 and 22 to connect the closed pipe to the tank body 10, a connection member 20 comprising a heating medium introduction pipe 23 and a Tee 24, and a casing 30 to protect the tank body 10. The tank body 10 comprises a lower fixed plate 11 to be fixed with the heating medium introduction pipe 23 penetrated in a rising condition, a cylindrical body 12 having an air vent means which is fitted in the heating medium introduction pipe 23 with a play therebetween, an upper movable plate 13 which overhangs outwardly in the radial direction from a lower end part of the cylindrical body 12, and a cylindrical bellows member 14 which is easily expandable in the vertical direction and connects the lower fixed plate 11 to the upper movable plate 13 in a liquid-tight condition.
