An impeller capable of increasing the efficiency of a mixed flow compressor by suppressing or preventing the reverse flow of a fluid in a diffuser, comprising a plurality of blades and a hub disposed at the foot part of the plurality of blades. The surface of the body of the impeller on which the rear edge parts of the plurality of blades are positioned is tilted relative to a rotating shaft in a plane involving the rotating shaft. The rear edges of the plurality of blades are formed to be positioned on a line generally parallel with the rotating axis of the hub.
