<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transaction device and a method for it displaying an interest/tax and the like of each deposit pattern constructed of a combination of a deposit type and a deposit term matching an amount inputted by a customer and giving an alarm at the deposit pattern which seems to be unprofitable for the customer. <P>SOLUTION: In receipt of input of cash, interest and tax corresponding to each deposit pattern constructed of a combination of the deposit type and the deposit term matching the input amount is calculated, while for a pattern with no interest or tax of one or more yen, an interest/tax information table with an alarm setting is created, and the interest/tax information table and predetermined information about cash transaction are presented to the customer.
