<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the occurrence of shifting shock by predicting a driving/driven condition after coast-down shifting operation and then properly controlling hydraulic pressure. <P>SOLUTION: A value for an input shaft rotating speed Ni or an input shaft rotating speed Nia calculated from an output shaft rotating speed and a gear ratio after shifting operation and predicted after shifting operation, whichever smaller, is compared with an engine speed Ne. When change-over between driving and driven conditions during coast-down shifting operation is determined, holding pressure on engagement side hydraulic pressure Pm is corrected not to cause the change-over (Ph→Ph'). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
