<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation of throughput capacity of a printing system as a whole, which is caused by the processing load of output data of a printer driver. <P>SOLUTION: The degree of complexity of a drawing instruction of an operating system is calculated, on the basis of the classification and/or the parameter of the drawing instruction (S501). The degree of complexity is based on the classification of the drawing instruction and the number of contour points of a clip area included in the parameter. The degree of complexityδobtained is compared with thresholdsδ1 andδ2 (S502 and S504), to perform processings 1 to 3 according to the relation of magnitude among them. The drawing instruction for image data and its clip instruction are outputted, in accordance with the drawing instruction in the processing 1, and drawing instructions, divided in accordance with the clip instruction, are outputted in the processing 2; and AND between the image data and mask data generated in accordance with the clip instruction is operated to output an instruction for drawing an image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
