PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music teaching apparatus capable of intensively training listening ability of pitches and intervals that are often mistakenly caught and students are not good at. SOLUTION: A series of assignment sound data asNote that is assigned and a series of answer sound data ansNote that is answered corresponding to the assign sound data are compared, respectively, and the rhythms that can be correctly discerned and the rhythms that are mistakenly caught are tabulated. Based on the tabulation result, the rhythms that are often mistakenly caught and students are not good at are discriminated, and a series of training assignment sounds based on the discriminated rhythms is generated and assigned.
