PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crime-preventive window glass seal which has a crime-deterring effect, is low in cost, and prevents scatter of glass debris at the time of breakage of a window glass and a fire from being caused by a gas burner, to the utmost. SOLUTION: A seal member 7 is produced by laminating on each other and affixing to each other a release sheet 1 on one side, a front sheet 5 on the other side, and a plastic sheet 3 and a metallic sheet 4 as intermediate members via an adhesive 6. Alternatively in place of the release sheet and the front sheet, release-cum-front sheets may be arranged on both the sides of the seal member.
