Two standard commercial tripod knuckle screws slide in an elongated groove as fastening elements for a lens support frame and for fastening a digital camera. It is possible to have a distance adjustment in a magnifying lens for a display surface up to 100 mm. A lens diagonal amounts to 80 mm. Maximum magnification factor goes up to 2.25 times. An independent claim is also included for a shading shaft to be fitted on a functional unit with fold-open funnel to cover a field of vision.
