The actuator has a force transmitting part (3) connected to a sliding screw (4), and a sliding stud (6) inserted into a slide of the sliding screw. The stud is held with a spring (10) in a housing (7) of the actuator. The sliding screw is moved in two opposite directions depending on the movement of the slide, so as to lengthen or shorten the force transmitting unit. An independent claim is also included for an automated transmission and/or a double clutch transmission.
