<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizer protection film which does not cause cracking even when a deformation stress due to a polarizer is applied, and has excellent durability, to provide a polarizing plate which does not cause cracking after a durability test and has excellent durability and to provide a liquid crystal display device having high durability. <P>SOLUTION: The polarizer protection film essentially comprises cyclic olefinic resin, has a stress relaxation rate of 7% or more and has a tensile elastic modulus of 900 MPa or more.
