<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a certain and low-cost drainage structure of a hot water storage tank 10 allowing easy operation, in a hot water storage type hot water supply apparatus having the hot water storage tank 10 placed on a face lower than the ground. <P>SOLUTION: In this hot water supply apparatus, a self-feeding pump device 62 for drainage is provided, and water inside the hot water storage tank 10 is drained by use of the self-feeding pump device 62 when necessity to drain the water inside the hot water storage tank 10 is generated. Thereby, by providing and preparing the self-feeding pump device 62, a drainage passage 60 has only to be opened to drive the self-feeding pump device 62 when the drainage is required, so that the operation is facilitated, and the certain drainage can be performed regardless of a state of a sewer. As compared with a drainage structure wherein an underdrain 4 from a moat 2 to the sewer 3 is constructed, the general-purpose drainage structure having the suppressed cost can be realized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
