PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve shock on a colliding object (object to be protected) by sufficiently reducing a shock load inputted into a wiper motor part when a vehicle collides. SOLUTION: This wiper motor 72 is disposed on the rear surface of a motor bracket part 32 (on a pivotally supported part 16, i.e., on the opposite side of a wiper arm). The output shaft 74 thereof is passed through the motor bracket 32, and a crank arm 76 is installed on the surface of the motor bracket 32 (on the pivotally supported part 16, i.e., on the wiper arm side). In addition, a height dimension A between the rear surface of the motor bracket 2 and the first pivot lever 24 of a first pivot shaft 20 is set larger than a height dimension C between the rear surface of the motor bracket part 32 and the crank arm 76.
