METHOD FOR SETTING POWER SUPPLY VOLTAGE WITH RESPECT TO SOLID-STATE IMAGING APPARATUS, THE SOLID-STATE IMAGING APPARATUS, AND CAMERA APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a proper low-level voltage of a DRN control pulse SEL, with respect to a CMOS sensor. SOLUTION: After all pixels are read in an ordinary state at a SEL low level varied gradually by a SEL low level generating section 170, a read signal line switch 175a is closed to connect adjacent vertical signal lines 53 and an output switch 175b is closed, and a SEL low level appropriate processing section 180 reads the level of the vertical signal lines 53. The SEL low level appropriate processing section 180 compares the level read with a threshold Dth to discriminate whether the level at the measurement is a proper level. When the read level exceeds the threshold Dth, the SEL low level appropriate processing section 180 discriminates that leakage takes place in any pixel at the SEL low level in this measurement. A SEL low level generating section 170 sets a proper SEL low level to a vertical scanning circuit 14 on the basis of the result. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
