PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress drop of delivery performance of a pump due to air suction. SOLUTION: An impeller 15 having been provided in a pump chamber 33 rotatably in a regular and a reverse direction and having different fluid pumping action depends on rotation direction is provided. When a rotation direction having large fluid pumping action in the rotation directions of the impeller 15 is defined as a first rotation direction (direction of an arrow head b) and a rotation direction having small fluid pumping action is defined as a second rotation direction (direction of arrow head "a"), fluid is sucked from a suction flow passage 35a into a pump chamber 33 by rotating the impeller 15 in the first rotation direction and sucked fluid is discharged out of the pump chamber 33 from a delivery flow passage 37a. The suction flow passage 35a is connected to the pump chamber 33 at a direction crossing with a rotary axis 14a of the impeller 15. Consequently, when the impeller 15 is driven and rotated in the direction in which the pump 17 does not function (direction of arrow head "a"), fluid can not easily flow in the suction flow passage 35a and suction of air from the delivery flow passage 37a can be prevented.
