PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems of an accumulator for a multi-cylinder compressor that, because a passage of liquid refrigerant flowed from an intake pipe is positioned near an opening of an outlet pipe, the refrigerant is taken directly from the outlet pipe, and compressed, resulting in deterioration of reliability of the compressor. SOLUTION: Because an auxiliary partition plate 6 covering a tip end opening of an outlet pipe is provided at a bottom part of a partition plate 5 with a partition plate hole 4 between outlet pipes 3a, 3b, a liquid component of refrigerant flowed from an intake pipe at a top center passes through the partition plate hole 4, and then collides with the auxiliary partition plate 6, and is remained at the bottom of a closed container 1. At that time, because top openings of the outlet pipes 3a, 3b are covered with the auxiliary partition plate 6, the liquid refrigerant is not directly flowed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
