摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly converge air fuel ratio on stoichiometric point when operation with rich air fuel ratio is performed right after start and air fuel ratio feed back control is started thereafter. SOLUTION: Air fuel ratio right after start is made rich by setting of a target air fuel ration correction coefficient TFBYA and air fuel ratio is gradually converged on stoichiometric point as time passes thereafter. When activation of O2 sensor is detected, increased amount by the target air fuel ratio correction coefficient TFBYA is cut and the increased amount is added on air fuel ratio feedback correction coefficient ALPHA under conditions that resistance against engine stop is low and that torque step is not permitted. On the contrary, increased amount by the target air fuel ratio correction coefficient TFBYA is cut and addition of the increased amount on air fuel ratio feedback correction coefficient ALPHA is cancelled under conditions that resistance against engine stop is high and that torque step is permitted.
