PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch capable of preventing static electricity inflowing from the outside from influencing a switch contact part, in relation to a switch having the switch contact part housed in a recessed part of a case made of an insulation resin with the recessed part covered with a metallic cover. SOLUTION: Since this switch is composed by integrally arranging an insulating coating film 23 on the undersurface of the cover 21 covering the switch contact part housed in the case 1, static electricity inflowing to the cover 21 is prevented from jumping to the switch contact part, and a circuit part of an apparatus connected to the switch contact part can be protected.
