PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable photosensitive material superior in image quality without cloudiness and remaining color. SOLUTION: The heat developable photosensitive material comprises an image forming layer containing non-photosensitive organic silver salts, photosensitive silver halides, reducing agents, and binders on a surface side of a support, and non-photosensitive layer of monolayer on a background side thereof. The photosensitive material contains one of a synthetic polymer having a group represented by a specific formula or a synthetic polymer having a divalent linking group represented by a specific formula.
