PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid holding tape capable of preventing the occurrence of darkening in gaps at corners even in the case that the gaps have occurred at corners between a mat underlaid in a floor surface and a toilet bowl, at corners between the mat and wall surfaces, and at other corners. SOLUTION: The liquid holding tape has a liquid holding property and is provided with a groove 3 for bending over both end parts so as to be bent at right angles. One surface of the liquid holding tape is provided with an adhesive layer 2. Each edge of both sides in the width direction is provided with a plurality of slits 4 and 5 so as to be pasted to even a corner part between a toilet bowl having a curved external circumferential surface and a floor surface without causing wrinkles.
