PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter easily and appropriately deodorizing odor generated and dispersed in an exhaust system generated from facilities performing cooking using a heat source, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor, in the inorganic porous deodorizing filter and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: This inorganic porous deodorizing filter is formed with a corrugated honeycomb structure of nonflammable paper tissue having a tunnel structure and containing hormite clay mineral of 50-90 wt.%. The manufacturing method for the inorganic porous deodorizing filter employs the nonflammable paper tissue formed by forming the corrugated honeycomb structure and baking it under 500-1000°C.
