PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelf board fitting structure of an assembly type rack capable of easily fitting shelf boards to struts without using special tools. SOLUTION: The shelf board fitting structure of the assembly type rack (1) has the shelf boards (9) capable of placing on frames (23) and a group of struts (7) capable of fitting to the frames. A group of shelf board fitting tools (11) is provided for removably fitting the shelf board to each strut fitting part (5) of the frame or to the frame. Each of the shelf board fitting tools has a board receiving part (51) for holding the shelf board, an locking board part (75) elastically deforming with respect to the board receiving part, and an locking claw (79) for locking with a lower end of the strut fitting part provided on a lower end of the locking board part or with a lower end of the frame. A corner of the shelf board is retained by the board receiving part, and the lower end of the strut fitting part or the like is locked with the locking claw, so that fitting of the shelf board is completed without using special tools.
