PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning power reel for fishing which reinforces the frame for attaching a spool and a spool motor, simplifies the connection of lead wires to the spool motor, and lowers the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This spinning power reel for fishing in which the spool is rotatably supported between side plates attached to the right and left side frames of the reel main body and the spool motor for wind-driving the spool is received in a motor-receiving portion disposed between the side frames in the front of the spool is characterized by integrally forming the above-mentioned motor-receiving portion between the right and left side frames, disposing lead wire-receiving holes opened in the right and left side frames in the peripheral wall of the motor-receiving portion, and inserting the lead wires connected to the spool motor into the lead wire-receiving holes.
