PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mechanically and approximately simultaneously remove weeds growing in interrow spacing and in intrarow spacing of crops planted in approximately fixed interrow spacing and intrarow spacing in a field. SOLUTION: The weeding apparatus is equipped with weeding frames 4 pivotally supporting a plurality of rotating weeders 5 for carrying out weeding operation while rotating at the lower side opposed to a field surface, an interrow space weeding means for weeding interrow spacing 14 while moving along the weeding frames 4 along a row, a crop stock detection sensor 9 for detecting a crop stock 13 and a weeding frame rotation/fixation means, with which when the crop stock detection sensor 9 detects the crop stock 13, the weeding frames 4 are revolved in the horizontal direction at a fixed angle and a part of the rotating weeders 5 are made to face intrarow spacing 15 and kept in the state. The weeding frames 4 are formed in a cross form, the central part of the cross form and each tip part extended longitudinally right and left from the central part pivotally support the rotating weeders 5, respectively and the weeding frames 4 are revolved around the central parts.
