PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a processing time when processing is applied to at least two surfaces of wood and to prevent the occurrence of a new problem like the occurrence of processing failure, the shortening of the life of an endge tool and the scaling-up of an apparatus. SOLUTION: Surface processing units 600A and 600B, a tenon processing unit 700 and a lateral turning unit are provided. Further, the surface processing units 600A and 600B are installed at a surface processing position so as to perform surface processing at the same time from the front direction and back direction of a wood feed line and constituted so as to be capable of performing processing operation independently to change over simultaneous driving control for operating the respective surface processing units 600A and 600B and time lag driving control for operating the surface processing units 600A and 600B alternately or different processing orders. When processing data includes the processing of a through-hole, driving control data is formed so as to form a cut hole by half using the surface processing units 600A and 600B.
