摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a Cr-Zr-Al-series copper alloy wire rod by using a belt-caster type continuous casting machine. SOLUTION: Molten copper melted with a melting furnace 1 under reducing atmosphere, is held in a holding furnace 2 under reducing atmosphere, and while passing the molten copper held in this holding furnace 2 through a casting trough 3 held in argon gas or mixed gas of argon gas and nitrogen gas, after adding and stirring Al, Cr and Zr are added and the molten copper alloy having the composition composed of 0.05-0.8% Cr, 0.005-0.2% Zr, 0.003-0.3% Al and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities is produced. This molten copper alloy is introduced into a tundish 4 and poured into a casting hole in the belt caster type continuous casting machine 6 from a nozzle 5 fitted to the tundish 4.
