METHOD FOR CHANGING GUIDE BAR OF TWO-ROLL STRAIGHTENER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for changing the guide bar of a two-roll straightener which can make the guide bar lightweight by modifying the guide bar to a structure in which only the wearing part is detachable and which enables the guide bar to be changed in a short time without any conveying machine such as a crane. SOLUTION: The guide bar of the two-roll straightener is divided into two parts so that only the wearing part of the guide bar can be changed in order to facilitate a change of the guide bar in the two-roll straightener to be used for straightening a steel pipe and a steel bar. Further the guide bar is provided with reinforcing plates on both of its ends and with fitting portions on its setting face. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
