PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device for a game machine which locks a front door closely to a casing so as not to cause a gap therebetween and is prevented from unlocked unauthorizedly. SOLUTION: At reception parts 21 and 22, a move-in recess part 23 and 24 for allowing gear parts 3 and 4 to move in are formed. On the inner surfaces of the recess parts 23 and 24, racks 25 and 26 are formed facing the move-in direction of the gear parts 3 and 4. At the gear parts 3 and 4, engaging gears 5 and 6 are journaled in a rotatable manner, and rachet gears 7 and 8 are journaled coaxially with the shafts of the engaging gears 5 and 6. An unlocking member 11 for swinging the rachet pawls 9 and 10 of the rachet gears 7 and 8 is slidably arranged. The unlocking member 11 can be linked with a cam plate 12 fixed to the lock shaft of a cylinder lock 13, and the unlocking member 11 has a locking part 11b for preventing moving in an unlocking direction formed projectingly to the side of the cam plate.
