PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system and the like capable of opening a diary on view only to a designated person. SOLUTION: When a friend opening his/her diary on view to a user is selected from a list 801 on a group diary selection screen (a), a calendar screen (b) related to the diary of the friend is displayed. On the calendar screen, the day when the friend writes the diary and the day when the friend does not write the diary are displayed distinctively, while the number or written pages are displayed separately. The user can jump from the calendar screen to a screen for browsing the diary on the designated day. The user can designate a person to whom the user opens his/her diary on view by means of a publication registration button 802.
