PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining a presumption operation parameter in a gas turbine. SOLUTION: The method includes a stage for determining the presumption operation parameter 72 using algorithm 74 including trim coefficient K and having an input from a sensor 78; a stage for defining the first trim coefficient K based on comparison of the first presumption operation parameter 72 with an output 76 of the sensor when the state of the sensor is in a first mode 82; and a stage for subsequently determining the presumption operation state using the first trim coefficient K when the state of the second sensor is in a second mode during later determination 84 of the presumption operation parameter.
