PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate insertion and taking-out of a sample tube, and to hold the sample tube in a measurement region, in measurement using nuclear magnetic resonance equipment. SOLUTION: This nuclear magnetic resonance apparatus 20 has a pair of superconducting magnets 1 arranged in the horizontal direction, and an access port 4 for a sample formed rectangular and accessible and orthogonal to the horizontal direction from the device outside to the center part. A homogeneous field region 6 is formed on the device center part between the superconducting magnets and is used as a measuring region. The pair of superconducting magnets are supported in the vertical direction by heat-insulating load supports 5. The heat-insulating load supports are arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction of the superconducting magnets. An access port 3 for a probe is formed in the vertical directions.
