PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transposed segment conductor restraining generation of buckling of its wires and thereby restraining ensuing degradation of electric conduction characteristics at the time of its being wound around a curved surface such as a peripheral face of a drum, maintaining stable electric conduction characteristics, and improving long-term reliability in case of use by being taken out of the drum. SOLUTION: The transposed segment conductor made by spirally winding transposed segments with a plurality of tape-like wires transposed and twisted around a tube body, satisfies a formula (1): [(s/t)<SP>1/2</SP>(W/D)]<0.15, wherein a diameter of the drum around which the transposed segment conductor is wound is D [mm], a thickness of the wire is t [mm], a width of the wire is W [mm], and a spiral pitch of the transposed segment is s [mm].
