PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planting retaining wall with easily manufacturable structure. SOLUTION: This planting retaining wall 10 is provided with a bottom plate 11; a wall body 12 erected from the bottom plate 11 and formed with a window 13 passing through from an outer surface 12a to an earth retaining surface 12b; and a cover body 20 opened downward and mounted to the earth retaining surface 12b of the wall body 12 to cover the whole window 13 to thereby form a planting space 30 outward on the side of the earth retaining surface 12b of the window 13.
