PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an embroidered material having a decorative hole penetrating the embroidered material and nevertheless resistant to fraying and having high strength and provide a method for producing an embroidery product by using the embroidered material. SOLUTION: A cloth 5 having low heat-resistance is embroidered with an embroidery yarn having high heat-resistance compared with the cloth to form a ring-shaped embroidery 1. The cloth 5 surrounded by the ring-shaped embroidery 1 and the cloth 5 outside of the embroidery 1 are thermally cut along the embroidery 1 to form an embroidered material A.
