PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative part having a decorative film in which a decorative film layer with a gold color tone can be easily and thickly formed on a wear resistant layer with a white color tone at high adhesion, also the expansion of the variation in designs by a two tone finish seemingly high-ranking, and further, operability is excellent, and to provide its production method. SOLUTION: The decorative part is composed of: a base material for a decorative part made of metal; a wear resistant layer formed on the surface of the base material for the decorative part by a dry type plating method; an intermediate layer with a gold color tone formed on a part of the surface in the wear resistant layer by a dry type plating method; and a decorative film layer with a gold color tone formed on the surface of the intermediate layer by a wet type plating method.
